The Most Important Call

Our week has UNDOUBTEDLY been full of calls, emails, texts, more phone calls, and recruiting meetings! What a privilege to grow deeper in the relationships with recruits, their parents and coaches we already know very well, as well as engage in first-time conversations. As exciting as it is when a recruit answers the phone, there are those FEW times that we find ourselves talking to their voicemail.
Jeremiah 33:3 says, "Call to Me and I WILL answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know."
How AMAZING is it that we have a Father who ANSWERS ALL THE TIME!!! (Now, wouldn't it be nice if our recruits did that?!) ;-) The even more amazing thing is that He is anxious to hear from us, HIS CHILDREN. WHENEVER we reach out, He is ALWAYS there! We never have to question that. This promise means that EVERY conversation we have with Him is an important one. He cares enough to listen to every detail, every time.
Our phone should serve as the best reminder that we have 24/7 access to our Father. Let's take advantage of this opportunity. Next time you have to leave a message for a coach, recruit, player, or parent, take a moment and "make the call" to Him. He is waiting on you, so reach out, talk to Him (about any and everything), and let Him "WOW" you with the things He WILL tell and show you!
Happy Recruiting! Have a great weekend!
