Be Strong

Great morning, Kingdom Coaches!
Popular notions on strength say that strength is power--muscle-might; vital vigor; resolute resolve; fixed focus. That strength is in the muscles, in the will, or that it is in the very heart of an individual. However, the strength that trumps all others is the strength of mind. With mental fortitude, we can provoke to action the very things we are trying to accomplish.
TRUE strength of mind means being fully surrendered to the belief that Christ (from whom all things are given, from where all things are created, and to whom all glory is given) literally gives us His mind on the matter. The mind of Christ says, “I CAN do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13). His strength says, “I will persevere even when I don’t know how I can.”
“Being strong” means we receive this gift from God in full and abundant measure through yielded surrender by saying, “I can’t, but You can. And because of You, I WILL.” It is the firm, unmovable, unshakeable resolve to be fortified in the mind of Christ that gives us ALL strength, peace, joy, hope, and courage. How do we have the mind of Christ? By accepting His thought processes and patterns outlined in Philippians 4:8-9—
“Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable— if there is any excellence or anything worthy of praise—think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.”
Much like anything we learn in life, we have to PRACTICE these thought patterns. Since they do not occur naturally or automatically, we can EMBRACE the situations that give the necessary mind-stretching, even if they are seemingly adverse ones. When we do this, we are promised to have peace which removes confusion, doubt, fear, and discouragement. It doesn’t always promise understanding on the front end. Instead, it also calls us to trust, with faith. “Trust in the Lord with all our heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We are stronger than we think. Always. It just takes the revelation that we are always only one surrendered mindset away from being TRULY strong—in every moment of every day. So today, let’s BE STRONG. Let’s choose to have Christ-like strength in all areas, with the primary focus being in our minds! For every situation you are facing, there is a scripture to remind you that you can cling to Him and hold fast to His promises!
Have a "STRONG" day!!
